AIM: To enhance the development of players and parent coaches in the U10-U12 age groups for boys and girls.

For one hour per week for sixteen weeks, a minimum of two coach mentors will deliver a range of sessions to develop players, teams and coaches at Monaro Panthers in the role of coach and mentor.

Coach mentor one brings an extensive impressive career spanning over 25 years. He has worked at three English Premier League Clubs with both Junior Academy and Senior Professional players. He has also worked for the English FA as a Coach Mentor.

He holds the prestigious UEFA A Football Coaching Licence as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Sports Science.

He is the assistant coach of Monaro Panthers First Grade.

Coach Mentor two is the current Monaro Panthers U13 coach who recognizes the need to provide a structured curriculum to enhance the development of MPFC boys and girls in the U9-U12 age groups in preparation for NPL U13.

Having the U13 coach involved with the U9-U12 age group will ensure a structured pathway into the NPL format.

FORMAT: Subject to player numbers, all teams will remain individually and will follow the same theme set by the coach mentors at the beginning and throughout each session. Coaches will be mentored on coaching technique and delivery styles whilst gaining session ideas. The overall objective is to create better players and coaches who will remain at MPFC for the long term and progress into MPFC NPL.
