Another season is upon us and the time has come to kick off what should be another great year. The Panthers continually invest back in the club season to season. We aim to run the club profitably so that future investment into facilities and equipment can continue. But our commitment is and always will be, to continually keep downward pressure on the cost of registration fee’s, so that Monaro Juniors will be accessible to everyone.

This year we have given a further Second child and family discounts.

Monaro offers registrations from all boys and girls, of all age groups to participate in either internal club competitions or in the ACT Junior League.

Last year we ran 60 Rooball teams and 35 Junior league teams. Not only do we welcome all past players, but also any new players but encourage you to get in early Currently we believe the following classifications will be the groupings for Monaro Juniors, again depending on numbers. Roo-ball 5 year olds through to 9 year olds, including combined and separate girls competition, playing in our own internal competition.

Monaro Juniors 10 year olds through to 17 years of age, playing in either a non competitive competition or in the ACT Junior League Competition. Girls play in Girl only sides and competitions.

Monaro is a Queanbeyan based club and will be training and playing at a number of Queanbeyan grounds. Our home base will be at Madew Oval Jerrabomberra as well as using , High Street, Lambert Park and Riverside park. Training nights and times will be confirmed once kids are allocated to teams and coach’s.

Monaro provides not only a social and friendly environment for kids to enjoy playing for fun, but we also encourage club sides as well as Monaro development Representative sides to participate in other tournaments throughout the season. Such tournaments as Kanga Cup, Cowra, Young, Wagga and Eden Football Carnivals, but more exciting opportunities to play in some other interstate tournaments with planning under way also for a return trip to South Korea with our sister club Singok in 2008.

Under the direction of Club Coaching Director, Attilio Carbone, the club is also identifying other opportunities for club teams. Monaro is a club that exists for the soul purpose of promotion of Football at all levels in Queanbeyan and this region, but it doesn’t stop there. We encourage our kids and parents to get involved in the many volunteer committees and help with the everyday running of the club.

We encourage fair play, sportsmanship and mate ship.

We encourage everyone to get involved with fund raising, match day duties and attending Presentation Day, family days and other Club activities.

We want to provide not only a friendly soccer atmosphere but a family orientated soccer culture.
